Afraa Zuhair Y Attiah

Profile

Afraa Attiah is working in Department of Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia.  She received received her PhD degree from Department of  Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science, University of Central Florida,2018. She was a member with Limbitless
Solution Organization at University of Central Florida.  She received Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, University of Central Florida in 2012, USA. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Summa cum laude) from Umm Al- Qura University, Saudi Arabia, in 2007. Her current research focuses on network modeling, energy efficiency in wireless sensor networks,
network security, and game theory.

Research Interests

Energy Efficiency in Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Conducted literature review for issues of the limitation of resources (i.e., energy) in WSNs.
  • Conducted literature review for the proposed solution for the issues of design WSNs.

 

WSNs Design and Game Theory

  • Studied deeply how game theory can be applied in communication networks.
  • Proposed models of energy efficiency in routing and clustering under a game theoretic framework
  • Proposed dynamic hyper approach for a defense mechanism against several types of WSNs attacks under a game theoretic framework

 

Biomedical Engineer and build bionic arm for kids with 3D printer and EMG sensor with Limbitless Solutions INC
  • Participated in Electronic and Creative department with non-profit organization
  • Assembling and developing the electronic circuit
  • Participated in designing and coloring the sleeve of bionic hand
  • Presented the work and the goals of the organization for kids school for inspiration
